How can this happen?
All over the world, almost everybody is feeling the pain rooting from high gas price. Poor nations are continously suffering, their people unable to cope with high cost of living, unable to eat 3 decent meals a day, tightening their already shortened belts of austerity.
And year after year, gas/oil companies are proudly pronouncing their record profit and sales!
A true example of the lack of balance in the wealth and resources of the world, where only a few selected portions of the society are satisfied, and the rest is left to lick their own wounds.
I wonder how the management of oil giants like Shell, Mobil, Total etc.... can sleep at night, knowing somewhere in the world a child cries of hunger pains.
