And yet, sceptics who claim to be 'men of science' are bombarding us with counter studies that there is no such thing as GLOBAL WARMING.
Call me naive, call me uneducated, unlearned, I don't give a darn. But there are people in the Pacific who are seeing receding shorelines right before their eyes. People in other parts of the world, now under increasing high-tide, everyday of their lives for the past 5 or so years. The Arctic melting.
US and China are two of the biggest contributors to world pollution! Both are 'industrialized' and both also are under administrations who have very low regard to NATURE!
Myanmar is just a victim of the modern world's insistent hunger for development and progress. The unsatisfied thirst for wealth and power - be it militarily or economicaly.
I hope there will be selective anihilation of only families of government officials and agencies who are stopping others in promoting the virtue of respect to nature.
But then again, as sure as the sun rises to shine to the righteous and the wicked and the rain blesses the good and the bad, nature's wrath knows no power, wealth, education or social standing.
It punishes all in its path, and quickly!
